Always keeping an empathetic heart, Gigi started Deseo Decor to give herself an outlet to her creative passions during the Covid crises. After dealing with long Covid and advocating for her patients as a registered nurse, she wanted to help bring celebrations to life as life can be fleeting- so why not with art, laughter and love. Gigi is great at connecting dots and partnering up with multiple vendors. This is not a business but a calling close to her heart where she has maintained relationships old and new through helping others celebrate life’s precious moments. Decor acts as a powerful catalyst for creativity by shaping the psychological and sensory conditions necessary for innovative thinking. It functions as a “prime for the pump,” using environmental cues like color, light, and texture to influence the brain’s cognitive and emotional states. She stands by her saying”We are all creator beings and let’s create moments as well as a world we love.”
Marsy is our superpower showcasing her senior leadership role responsible for the overall visual aesthetic, creative strategy, and technical execution of all decor projects and thematic vision. She was the first female to learn complex techniques to work for set design in the Dominican Republic and is also the 2026 Atlanta Artist of the year. A former IT professional with decades of corporate career made a significant transition, leaving a high-paying role to pursue her lifelong passion for floral design. Motivated by a desire for a career offering artistic fulfillment and a direct connection to nature, she chose purpose and passion over financial stability and professional predictability. Embracing the philosophy that it is never too late to follow a dream, she has traded computer servers for soil and code for blossoms. This allows her to connect with her interests in visual arts through a creative, emotive art form.
Now a dedicated floral artist, she expresses her creativity daily by designing and crafting unique floral arrangements for various events and occasions.
